KLINGER MIDDLE SCHOOL FARMER'S MARKET
Klinger Middle School teacher, Cynthia Korger saw families in her school who needed assistance with food and household items. With permission from her principal, Martin Hayes, the school created a Farmer’s Market. It is hosted in conjuction with the Bucks County Opportunity Council, the Warminster Food Pantry, Bucks-Mont Outreach and Philabundance.
We collected the items listed below at the Bucks County Chapter October luncheon.
Non-perishable food items, as well as toilet paper, disinfectant wipes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, maxi pads, toothpaste, diapers, baby wipes, school appropriate books (any age level), and shopping bags (plastic or paper).
Cynthia Korger was awarded a $500 grant at the luncheon for her work on the Farmer’s Market.
